3:10 pm	Gina Torres Joining ‘Huge’ Stars on Direct TV Channel Heard the big news? Gina Torres’s joining the cast of ‘Huge’ on your DirecTV channel.  The show is all set to premiere on Monday, June 28. She will portray Dr. Dorothy Rand in the forthcoming ABC family drama. The upcoming show portrays the lives of six girls and the staff at a weight loss camp. With the show, ‘The Drop Dead Diva’ and ‘Alias’ star is coming on your satellite TV soon! Landing on the series, she will co-star Nikki Blonsky, the Golden Globe nominated actress. She will work with other co-stars like Hayley Hasselhoff., Ashley Holliday, Harvey Guillen, Zander Eckhouse, Andrew Caldwell and Ari Stidham. The story of the show is based on a book by Sasha Paley which revolves round the lives of the six teens at a weight loss camp. These teens, for first time in their lives, try to look beneath the surface to know their true selves and also the truth about each other.  The funny and amusing series will begin their production soon and will be premiered on June on Direct TV channel. In the show, Blonsky will play the role of a rebellious and sarcastic teen who for her behavior is a menace to some. Of course, some others always watch her as a revolutionary too.
